Recipes and Flavor Profiles

Sauvignon Blanc
Dry, well-balanced with crisp citrus and melon flavors. A versatile wine for pairing with food.

Chardonnay
Dry, tropical fruit aromas with a rich mouth feel.  Hints of toasty oak and complexity.  Helpful hint, the addition of lime or lemon juice and salt can help Chardonnays taste the way the winemaker intended.

Merlot
The ripe berry fruit aromas and flavors of this wine are complimented by subtle oak and mild tannins.  Pairing sweet foods will intensify the tannins.

Napa Valley Cabernet | Oroppas | Howell Mountain Cabernet
These three wines exhibit rich, complex textures and balanced tannins.  These are stronger styles of wines with firm tannins. Proper seasoning and the balancing of acidity with any sweet ingredient is important.
