Since its conception in 1991 by then winemaker Dennis Johns, Oroppas is a blend of the best vineyards and Bordeaux varieties that Napa Valley has to offer. We have put together some special verticals as well as hand selected Library wines for this special release of our 2005 Vintage.

2006 Oroppas Napa Valley
Rich and concentrated, the 2006 Oroppas opens with aromas of black plum, vanilla, brown sugar and cinnamon. On the palate, flavors of black currant, roasted coffee and bittersweet chocolate are wrapped in velvety tannins. Notes of dark chocolate and raspberry jam lead to a long finish.

2005 Oroppas Napa Valley
 St. Clement's proprietary red, the 2005 Oroppas, is primarily Cabernet Sauvignon with small quantities of Merlot and Petit Verdot included in the blend. Its deep ruby/purple hue is followed by notes of licorice, black currants, cedar, bay leaves, and toast. Ripe, round, medium to full-bodied, and opulent, it should drink well for 10-15 years. 2003 Oroppas Napa Valley Magnum 1.5L
The proprietary Bordeaux blend, the 2003 Oroppas, which is dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon with some Merlot and Petit Verdot, exhibits a dense purple color and a big, sweet nose of white flowers, blueberries, espresso roast, white chocolate, and spicy oak. The wine is rich, supple-textured, medium to full-bodied, approachable, and already revealing surprising complexity. It should drink well for 10-12 years...
