Winemaker's Comments
Signature aromas of strawberry, lavender and rosehip come forth in this exceptionally floral vintage while fresh fruit flavors are introduced on the palate. A cherry finish with notes of toasted almond and oak add to this wine’s spicy complexity. The classic Howell Mountain tannin structure reveals itself as big and bold. This wine is aged in 100 percent new French oak for nineteen months.
