If you're looking for the perfect place to pop the question (or just whisper sweet nothings in her ear), there's nothing more romantic than our vineyard-view terrace or on cold days, the cozy fireplace in the St. Clement house. Club members: book ahead of time and we'll make sure you have the place to yourselves.
With foodies and wine connoisseurs more interested in where their food and wine comes from, we're proud to say that at St. Clement we're true locovores. All of our grapes are grown in vineyards within a 30-mile radius of the winery.
Most people don't realize that winter is one of the best times to visit Napa Valley. Tasting rooms are quiet, roads aren't crowded and reservations are a snap. And you can always get warm next to the fireplace at St. Clement!
Danielle is a vegetarian and avid gardener who loves matching St. Clement wines with vegetarian dishes. Some of her favorites: homemade Butternut Squash Raviolis, Polenta with Gooey Goat Cheese, Pumpkin Soup or even more delicate soups such as Miso.
The fruit for this Chardonnay comes from our Abbott's Vineyard located in Carneros, which typically experiences a long, cool growing season due to the influence of the San Pablo Bay.

St. Helena Cyclery
Bike Ride Through Napa St. Helena Cyclery rents bikes, which is great for seeing the valley up close and personal. I like
to bike down the Silverado Trail to Bouchon Bakery, eat a croissant, and then bike back. That's exercise, right?
St. Clement produces a classic Cabernet Sauvignon from this vineyard, known for its elegance and superb tannin structure.
Armstrong Ranch
Although it's at a higher elevation, the vineyard is actually warmer than the valley floor most nights, but cooler during the day.
Tournahu Vineyard
Tournahu features two very different soil types – one is loose and rocky while the other is a heavier Bale Clay Loam – necessitating that we pick the vineyard twice at harvest time.
Ballard Vineyard
The majority of the vineyard is planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, and the first vintage was in 2005.
Bale Lane
Located just north of the winery, the Bale Lane Vineyard has well drained soils and a slightly warmer Napa Valley climate, which yields beautifully ripe Sauvignon Blanc.
Star Vineyard
This vineyard is the backbone of Orropas year after year. It's the component that tames the tannins of Howell Mountain, and adds depth, complexity and aroma to the Diamond Mountain and Mount Veeder fruit.
Gamble Ranch
Spanning the area between the Yountville and Oakville Crossroads in Napa Valley, this sprawling vineyard is the source of some of our finest Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Big Ranch
The vineyard is one of our sources for Merlot, and although its soils can generally be described as shallow and gravelly, our grapes come from two blocks with distinctly different soil structures that yield distinct flavor profiles.
Verhey Vineyards
This vineyard sits off Atlas Peak Road in the Coombsville area of Napa Valley. Though the amount of fruit we get from Verhey – all Cabernet Sauvignon – is small, it's worth the effort.
Bacigalupi Vineyards
This vineyard, which makes up a significant portion of the Napa Valley Cabernet blend, is usually one of the last vineyards in Napa Valley to be harvested each year.
Stanley Ranch
Located just a half-mile from the San Pablo Bay in the prestigious Carneros appellation at the southern end of the Napa Valley, Stanly Ranch is ideal for growing Chardonnay, Viognier and Pinot Noir grapes that make mouthwatering, complex wines.
Abbott's Vineyard
Located in Carneros, at the Southern tip of the Napa Valley, close of the San Pablo Bay, where marine influences of morning fog and afternoon breezes, create an ideal climate for growing Chardonnay and Merlot.
